Ever since I was a kid, I have considered myself an artist -- comic books, photography, drawing -- I loved it all. But it was while working in interior design on the East Coast that I really began my professional journey. I lost my father to cancer when I was a teenager, and art became a place to explore the depth of emotion I was experiencing. Some of my most intimate inspiration has been borne out of the struggles and challenges of life, so each of my pieces reflect something very personal but also -- I believe -- deeply universal.
